Meetings Wrap Up: June 2008 Archives
We simulate being a masterful coach is very similar to a masterful Tai Jei guru. When a guru plays Tai jei, he does not need to count each step according to the text book, he plays as the flow is in which he integrates all the technique and subtle movements skillfully and mindfully in that particular unique moment.
Bonnie encourages members to drill each mastery one by one. Moreoever, it is also important to drill few masteries together to seeing how they enhance the empowerment for the client.
In the Jun chapter meeting, we have put M3, M4 and M5 together for an overview. We have discovered that if we fully engaged in a high level of listening, we are in presence. If we are in presence, our expression will be honest, authertic and best for the client's self-discovery and self-awareness.
Therefore, grounding ourself before any coaching session is important for both the coach and the client.
We practised grounding together and we found that there are three level of ground:
Level 1 - we relax our BODY
Level 2 - we clear our MIND
Level 3 - we calm our SOUL
Which level of presence are you in now?
Most people knows how to do the level 1 grounding. Do you have any idea on how to step up to level 2 and 3? One coach said, "Masterful coaching requires a life time to learn and practise."
